Russian support
Would be lovely if Alexa'd have russian language support. Some friends of mine and I were thinking of bringing Alexa to grandparents as they don't use any smart devices and speaking would be the easiest way for them.

Bring Multi-Room support to AudioPlayer API streaming
Alexa Multi Room streaming does not appear to be available for third party skills that leverage the AudioPlayer API.
Feature request is to extend support for Multi Room to the AudioPlayer interface. This could be implemented by adding a custom slot type for the multi room location and then adding an optional parameter to the Play() command to allow the destination room group to be specified.
This has 37 likes and 19 comments as of Mar 2018 on this URL but doesn't show up on this feature forum - https://forums.developer.amazon.com/idea/101848/bring-multi-room-support-to-audioplayer-api-stream.html - so posting again.

Have Alexa pause during a conversation to allow user to think
Have Alexa pause when user needs time to think about a response/answer.
User can say: "wait" or "pause" or "one sec"
System will flash orange ring until user says: "OK"Conversation flow resumes.

Enable and allow true push capabilities
Expanding the current implementation of Push would unlock a massive developer opportunity. Please allow devs to build and users to select skills that can speak without the user initiating the conversation. If a skill gets annoying they can turn it off.

Forcing a user to remember a skill name is counter-intuitive, bad experience and leads to low adoption rates.
PROBLEM: Forcing a user to remember a skill name is counter-intuitive, bad experience and leads to low adoption rates.
Examples :
Alexa, tell Agent NEO to find my Home Value
Alexa, tell Harmony to turn on my TV
Alexa, ask AllRecipes for a Pasta RecipeProposed Solution:
Alexa, find my home's value (Alexa knows that the skill Agent NEO that the user has enabled, can handle this intent)
Alexa, turn on my TV (Alexa knows that the skill Agent NEO that the user has enabled, can handle this intent)
Alexa, find a Pasta Recipe (Alexa knows that the skill AllRecipes…266 votes -
Alexa, Turn on/off 'device' in "x" minutes
Using timer trigger for this will help. Currently, you can only achieve this by defining a specific time.
This is especially useful for devices that would normally be set to the default position of "on" and I don't want to forget that I temporarily turned it off.
Alternatively, you could give us the ability "if off, turn on in 'x' minutes".
Also useful because default position in most switches is 'off' after power outage. Right now, I'm running a 'turn on' once per hour in case of power failure.
I'd really like to get it down to 10 minutes but…

Ability to change 'Developer name or company name'
I'd like the ability to change 'Developer name or company name' under my Amazon Developer Company Profile. In the Amazon Developer portal today, this isn't possible. I know that I can write a support ticket to do this, but a permanent solution where developers can make these updates themselves would be better.

User-specific flash briefing content
The current flash briefing content (per provider) is a 'one size fits all approach'. Everyone gets the same NPR briefing, for example.
There are many use-cases where user-specific information could be very powerful in the flash briefing, often in concert with interactive skills. Some examples:
A sport team skill that (in the flash briefing) reminds you of your game time this weekend (or of changes), without you ever having to touch a calendar
A retailer skill that (in a flash briefing) advises of significant deals, relevant to your buying history or explicit 'watch list'.
I think this would take flash…

Provide full user utterance
Provide full user utterance for every conversation whether Alexa recognizes the intents/slots or not. There are many cases where the Alexa NLU is getting it wrong and in our fulfillment code we could do a double check and greatly improve the user experience. But we can't double check if you won't tell us what the user says every time.
As mentioned in forums and stackoverflow multiple times. I'm shocked that I couldn't find this when searching feature requests to date.

Remove requirement for Invocation name when an Audio Streaming skill is playing
Problem:
When an audio streaming skill is actively streaming/playing, users of the skill have to re-open the skill in order to issue additional commands. This creates a very awkward user experience, for example:
"Alexa, ask AnyPod to play This American Life"
<This American Life starts playing>
"Alexa, ask AnyPod to play the oldest episode"
<oldest episode starts playing>
"Alexa, ask AnyPod to fast forward 3 minutes"
<episode fast forwards>
"Alexa, ask AnyPod to <etc>"

Solution 1:
Ideally this interaction would go like this:
"Alexa, ask AnyPod to play This American Life"
<This American Life starts playing>
"AnyPod, play the…

Allow development skills to be used in routines.
Allow development skills to be used in routines. If we develop a skill, and haven't published it yet, but it is enable and active on our devices then we should be able to use it within a routine (obviously on our own devices).

Room awareness enhancement: add popular device types such as Fan, Air Conditioner, Set-top-box and let users change device type
Room awareness enhancement: add popular device types such as Fan, Air Conditioner, Set-top-box and let users change device type to their favorite. Now Alexa app allows changing device type between Light and Switch for some smart plug devices. But it would be great if for any device, users can define it as light, fan, air conditioner or set-top-box... and the room awareness feature will help simplify voice command. Users just can say: turn on the air conditioner, turn on the fan...
This device-type-changing feature will be very powerful when an infrared/RF universal remote control like Broadlink is connected to alexa.…95 votes -

We need more proactive notification event scheme types.
We need more proactive notification event scheme types. The current set is very limited. We want to inform a user of utility company disruption (eg a gas leak or water leak) in their postcode area.
Why not have a generic event that just takes a message string??

Allow skill to anticipate/disallow specific intents during conversation
I would like my skill to be able to listen for specific responses, i.e. make Alexa bias towards utterances of one or multiple intents that I specify in the skill's response, for the next user input.
For example, let's say my skill has a CityIntent which has utterances:
- I live in {city}
- It is {city}
- {city}
And my skill has another MovieIntent which has utterances:
- I like {movieType}
- I prefer {movieType}
- {movieType}
And at certain times my skill may also expect {yes/no} answer from user.
Since {city} and {movieType} have different value, Alexa usually does a good job of figuring…

Routines running on specific echo-device
My goal would be to create a rule "Alexa, turn on the light", which does not turn on the light in all rooms, but just in the room the echo-device is in.
To solve this, it would be great if i can create routines with multiple-triggers - not only the voice command, but also the device i am talking to.Secondly the commands should not be unique, so i can create more than one time the routine "turn the light on"

Trigger other routines in a routine
I would like to be able to chain routines. One beneficial use of this is to create a "base" routine which performs some actions, and which would be the first step in other routines.
