Amazon Alexa could be instrumental in changing the world for the better if the Wake Word were changed from "Alexa..." to "Alexa, please...".

My kids interact frequently alexa echo and we ask her a lot of things. I think it will be great if Alexa can have a skill where she will only answer if it asked properly or with manners, by saying thank you or please, etc...It bothers me listening to my kids demanding or asking in an imperative tone, this is a good training for them on how to speak and ask properly to any person. Also you have (at least in the spanish version that is the one we use) a daily question if you can create one just like that but for kids will be great, my kid loves it but is hard for him to know the answer so he is only guessing :)

Say please and thank you to Alexa or she asks “What’s the magic word?” Or responds “ah, you’re welcome?”

Specially for Kids, help them learn how to ask politely PLEASE and THANKYOU for things. Alexa should respond only to kids that ask PLEASE.

Hi! I am a father to a 2 year old and an Alexa, and I am in the process of teaching the former how to be polite. The other day as I was yelling my command to Alexa telling her to play me some Frank Sinatra ' and it got me thinking: 'I am not being very polite to Alexa, and thus I am modeling my son to yell commands when he wants something.
As I want my son to get into the habit of saying 'please' when he wants something, (and not yelling at musicians to play Frank Sinatra) I thought I'd submit a suggestion for a mode where you can change Alexa's command word to 'Alexa, please…'
(Alexa, please play me some Frank Sinatra' pr example.)
Please, consider my suggestion. (See what I did there)
Best regards, well mannered father and 'Frank Sinatra cover bands' fan.
Thank you (did it again).
