Ability to change 'Developer name or company name'
I'd like the ability to change 'Developer name or company name' under my Amazon Developer Company Profile. In the Amazon Developer portal today, this isn't possible. I know that I can write a support ticket to do this, but a permanent solution where developers can make these updates themselves would be better.

I completely agree. It’s much easier to be able to change the name on your own rather than needing to submit a support ticket for amazon to make the change for you.
You can raise a ticket in Alexa Support and they will change the company name. Along with that, all existing Alexa Skills company name will be updated by default.
I have done this earlier this year.

Would be great to make a voice skill on behalf of a client, get approval to develop for them, and have their company name as an option when publishing. This comes up quite a bit.
We need this to control email communication in Alexa Beta Testing. Let's say developer account is set to 'company name', and you send invitations to your friends (beta-testers). The invitation display name comes as 'company name' while my friends have no idea what my company is - and just take that invitation as a spam killing it. So for this we need the ability to change it let's say to %fullname% (%companyname%) or any other variants. Guess there are some other cases we need this feature too.

I've been building skills initially under my own company information. Would be good to be able to export the project to another company account once it's done.
The companies I design for want to see the skill coming from their own company on release in the skills page and also in the URL for the skill itself.

You can make this such that once the developer sends a request it stays in pending..and then your backend team verify it and then approve changes..this is usually how it works with other App Stores..
