Better audio quality in audio tag
Audio quality in audio tags is abysmal. Audio is already limited to 90 sec in total and max 5 tags in ssml. That is fine, but the biggest issue is that It is really hard to produce good sounding audio with these restrictions (mp3/16khz/48kbps). It would be great if these restrictions would be increased, to as much as possible. This would help to build more engaging skills with great audio inserts.

I'm developing a multi-platform interactive audio experience and the Amazon Echo is currently the lowest common denominator regarding sound quality. I'd love for the Echo to be the featured platform but for that to happen I need better quality audio from the SSML audio tag.
From the Echo product box, "Stereo sound powered by Dolby. Powerful, room-filling speakers with Dolby processing for crisp vocals and extended bass response." This is unattainable with a 48kbps 22050Hz MP3 file. I understand that it can be achieved with the AudioPlayer API but that API severely limits developer options and user interactivity with the skill.
Please improve this standard by either allowing higher bit and frequency rates or at least allowing for audio formats that sound better at such highly compressed levels.

It would also be great if other codecs were available too such as OGG which provides a much better sound for the same bitrate.

There is no Way producing a "good" sounding Audiofile with theese Specs! One Step to a better Sound is increase (at least) the Samplerate up to 44.1 Khz.
There are so much Ways to increase the Audio Quality without increase the Datarate.
