Smart Home Entertainment Presets
Our hifi devices have a feature which we call pins, but can be more generally described as presets - a bit like the ones you'd find on a car radio. It provides instant access to preselected music.
We'd like to offer these through our Smart Home Skill, for the moment, we've overloaded the Channel API permitted 6 channels 1 to 6 and also PIN x where x is a the number 1 to 6. This makes starting a pin rather awkward as you need to ask:
Alexa, change channel to PIN 4 on Kitchen
Would it be possible to introduce a more general synonym like "preset" instead of "channel".
"Alexa, invoke preset 4 on Kitchen" or
"Alexa, activate preset 4 on Kitchen"
Both would be much easier to say. Even better if we could substitute "preset" with our term "pin".
"Alexa, invoke pin 4 on Kitchen".

We are developing an Alexa Smart Home skill for our hifi devices, they have what we call "pins" which is effectively a preset 1 to 6 very much like the ones you would find on your car radio.
We've overloaded the ChannelController API to offer these pins to our users. For example:
"Alexa, change channel to 1 on Kitchen" would invoke pin 1
Similarly we've permitted the numbers to be prefixed with a name, for example:
"Alexa, change channel to Pin 3 on Kitchen"
These work, but are a bit of a mouthful.
Would it be possible to introduce a new interface for presets or permit a synonym for the word channel?
"Alexa, change to preset 2 on Kitchen" would be much more natural.
"Alexa, invoke preset 2 on Kitchen"
"Alexa, trigger preset 2 on Kitchen"
"Alexa, start preset 2 on Kitchen"
Ideally we'd like to use our own language "pin", but I can understand this being too specific:
"Alexa, invoke pin 2 on Kitchen"
