Bring back test button and for the command not to disappear when you hit enter
Here's the problem I have with the new Alexa Simulator: I have had ALS for 11+ years. When sitting at my computer desk, I'm only able to control the mouse with my hand and nothing else. I run a duel monitor set up and usually have the left monitor on PC and the right monitor on Direct TV.
When home alone, I’m unable to use the remote which is really annoying. So I found a YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUdS6siT0zY) it’s an echo skill for Direct TV. Now, I’m finally able to control the TV either through the simulator or with a computer simulated voice.
He my problem: With the old service simulator, I would just open a browser with 15 different tabs/simulators and in each simulator I would put the 15 most used buttons on the remote (right, left,up,down, menu, etc). I would just toggle back and forth from each tab kind of like running a remote. What was nice with the old simulator, whatever you typed in stayed there and all you had to do was hit the test button. For example, let’s say I wanted to fast forward at X3 speed to skip the commercials, all I had to do was hit the test button three times really quick then quickly go to the tab/simulator with play and hit test as the commercials ended.
However, with the new Alexa Simulator, not only do you have to type the full phrase every time, but once you hit enter the phase disappears. Going back to my example, now I have to copy and paste every command each time, which is way more time consuming and so very annoying.
Can you please bring back/have an option for the command not to disappear when you hit enter and bring back/have an option for a test or enter button by the microphone on the new Alexa Simulator.
Thanks for making my life harder than it already is.
