The ability to set an alarm in one room to go off in another room.
Set an alarm on Echo in one room, say the kitchen to go off in another room like the bedroom.
Try this for an Alarm in another room. EG (Alexa set 2 minute Alarm on lounge )

When you're cooking dinner and you have a few timers running on the kitchen Echo Dot, and you're in the living room resting before you need to get up again, we'd so much love to be able to ask the Echo Show 5 in the living room, "Alexa, show kitchen timers", to know how long you have left before you need to go back to the kitchen when deciding if you want to watch another episode of something or call someone or whatever it might be.

My point of view is with the ever growing number of multiple echos in houses it is essential that the timer and alarms be setable using groups. "Alexa, set a timer for 10 minutes downstairs".
I wonder if there is a concern, for example, that your kids might set your bedroom to go off at 3 o'clock from their room for a laugh but surely you would just need to have an option to disable this in the Echo App,

I live in an apartment and my Bose speakers sometimes pick up my request to set alarm. So my alarm doesn’t go off in the bedroom. I would love to set alarm to default to bedroom Echo dot, but for anything else (timers etc) to go off from the speaker we spoke to.

Good idea. I would also appriciate, if I can switch of an alarm in da different room, e.g. "Alexa, turn off the timer in the kitchen", speaking to the device in the living room

Good shout, this would be useful where someone has got an Echo Wall Clock paired with an Alexa device, but another device in an adjacent room picks up the wake word (e.g. setting a timer in the Kitchen, but the Dining Room Echo picks up the request - and the clock is in the Kitchen)

It's been a year, no progress yet?

Same goes for timers. Or be able to use groupings like with audio to play on multiple devices (eg. "Alexa set a 10 minute timer for downstairs" where dowstairs is an existing group or speaker group)
I’d like to add any command not just alarm. Play this song in kitchen.
