Bring Multi-Room support to AudioPlayer API streaming
Alexa Multi Room streaming does not appear to be available for third party skills that leverage the AudioPlayer API.
Feature request is to extend support for Multi Room to the AudioPlayer interface. This could be implemented by adding a custom slot type for the multi room location and then adding an optional parameter to the Play() command to allow the destination room group to be specified.
This has 37 likes and 19 comments as of Mar 2018 on this URL but doesn't show up on this feature forum - https://forums.developer.amazon.com/idea/101848/bring-multi-room-support-to-audioplayer-api-stream.html - so posting again.

Thank you very much for your patience. Your comments and votes are greatly appreciated. While we cannot promise each feature request will be implemented our team reviews each request and sends them to the appropriate product teams.

Please add Multi-room support to third party apps such as MyMedia. Multiroom is a large part of why I have any Echo speakers

Amazon, this is a needed capability. Multi-room audio should have been a no-brainer. To impair 3rd party apps by not allowing this, you are hindering adoption of your products and frustrating your users.

Please just add multi room/stereo paired capability to audio from BBC Sounds. I have a speaker group set up (2 x Echo Dots & an Echo Sub), I would like to hear audio from the BBC Sounds skill through my speaker group, not just one of the Echo Dots. Thanks.

I’ve got many Echo devices, including a stereo pair of Echo Plus’, but I can’t get the BBC skill to play radio broadcasts through the stereo pair. That’s ludicrous. Amazon needs to fix this. It’s infuriating.

I am in France and I am using a devialet player from Free. Unfortunately this is not working with multi rooms . So is it possible to take into account this request to have this possibility; this will be wonderful! Thanks!

I would like to add my support for multi-room streams. I used to listen to the BBC all the time using multi-room while going about my daily chores. This lack of this facility has destroyed a large part of why I bought several Echo Show devices. They have stereo output and perfectly acceptable sound quality, and I wanted the convenience of being able to play BBC radio in sync in several locations at once.

I agree - I want to wake up to BBC Radio 4 but I cannot. Like to have it playing simultaneously in several rooms but I cannot.

There shall be a possibility to play my own music! In the past there was a paid possibility by Amazon to store the music online - but unfortunately not available anymore. At least there shall be the possibility to play music from a NAS, therefore the Multi-Room is needed for AudioPlayer API.

Need to be able to select groups to gain stereo and subwoofer support for Plex. Listening to it in Mono is not what I purchased the addl echo and subwoofer for.

Not just essential, but critical if Amazon want to gain market share.
