Bring Multi-Room support to AudioPlayer API streaming
Alexa Multi Room streaming does not appear to be available for third party skills that leverage the AudioPlayer API.
Feature request is to extend support for Multi Room to the AudioPlayer interface. This could be implemented by adding a custom slot type for the multi room location and then adding an optional parameter to the Play() command to allow the destination room group to be specified.
This has 37 likes and 19 comments as of Mar 2018 on this URL but doesn't show up on this feature forum - https://forums.developer.amazon.com/idea/101848/bring-multi-room-support-to-audioplayer-api-stream.html - so posting again.

Thank you very much for your patience. Your comments and votes are greatly appreciated. While we cannot promise each feature request will be implemented our team reviews each request and sends them to the appropriate product teams.

Please implement... How hard could this be - its a quick win - and allows 3rd parties to develop apps & automatons that enhance the overall appeal of the Alexa devices and encourage multiple devices to be purchased for around the home - kerching Amazon - everyone is a winner (customer/3rd Party Developer/Amazon)!!!!

With the increasing number of multi-speaker and multi-room options with the Echo devices, this certainly needs opened up to 3rd party skills.

This feature was added natively for the Amazon devices some time back; please provide this feature for your app developers! Speaking as someone with seven Echos, this would show great customer support. Thanks!

Having to rely on Amazon's notoriously unreliable servers to play my music is infuriating! I constantly get inconsistent error messages about songs not being available etc. Please, Amazon, give My Media permission to include multiroom/group capability in their third-party skill!

Yes, yes, yes! In fact, if this isn't provided within the next few months, I'm going to stop buying Echos and start researching switching to another technology. I USED to have whole-house sound, thanks to my home automation software. But all of the speakers had to be wired. I'm in a new house now and I'd rather not return to that.
There's no point in me expanding my echo system (which is currently 2 echoes) if this is not provided soon.

This is long overdue - please implement Amazon! I'm able to make a clunky but working test version by creating a fake "Flash Briefing" skill which points to a live-streaming .MP3 file on my personal server. Then when I go around my home and ask Alexa to play my Flash Briefing, she successfully loads the live-streaming MP3 file and miraculously they are all in sync. Just thought I would share, in case someone out there can take this even further and create a skill or something...
