Alexa, Turn on/off 'device' in "x" minutes
Using timer trigger for this will help. Currently, you can only achieve this by defining a specific time.
This is especially useful for devices that would normally be set to the default position of "on" and I don't want to forget that I temporarily turned it off.
Alternatively, you could give us the ability "if off, turn on in 'x' minutes".
Also useful because default position in most switches is 'off' after power outage. Right now, I'm running a 'turn on' once per hour in case of power failure.
I'd really like to get it down to 10 minutes but that's simply too much manual config with no easy copy/paste.

Thank you for submitting an Alexa Skills Feature Request. We are happy to inform you that the feature you have requested has launched!

Sleep timers work for skills in progress. ("Alexa, stop in 10 minutes" appears to be identical to "Alexa, set a sleep timer for 10 minutes")
If they work for home-automation devices, that's news to me and I'm not sure how to phrase the request. Explain, please?
If Routines can/could have a "wait" step, that might be a partial workaround.

I'd rather generalize that. "Alexa, in 10 minutes [whatever]" or "Alexa, at [date/time] [whatever]".

May be we can add option like, Alexa Turn on Tv for 10 minutes. Or Off for n minutes.

Agreed. I need to limit "on" time when commanding a light --
> Turn on lamps for 10 minutes
> Turn on driveway lights for two hoursIt would also be useful to support a delay for "off" commands --
> Turn off lamps in 10 minutes -

Sleep timers work to turn OFF devices not ON as this request is requesting.
Expanding on this request, I would like this feature implemented such that routines can be scheduled not only at set times, but also in intervals between times.
To mirror this users ideal situation, every 10 minutes starting at <start time> and ending at <end time>, turn On/off <some device>...or do some skill, or send some email, say a sound, etc. If you wanted it to run all day, you could select starting at 12:00am and ending at 11:59PM
Plenty of uses...would love to have this for a family member with dementia, I could set routines to remind them every 30 minutes or so if they are supposed to do something or remind them that I will be back at a certain time.

Is this not the "Alexa, set sleep timer for x {amount of time}" command?
