have independent volume settings for timers and alarms
Reminders, timers and alarms should allow for individual melodies and volume levels.
A timer should be louder to be heard in noisy environments. A wake up alarm should be set much lower as sleep environments are quiet.
This especially applies to wake up alarms coupled with radio stations or other music.
Thanks for the suggestion, Peter! We’ll get this routed over to the appropriate internal team for review.
come on, the day i got my device bbciplayer stopped being an alarm option, i some how managed to make it wake me up to radio 6 but at full volume???? it really is a retro tech thing, glad i didnt pay for it!

If I set music volume as I like it, alarms/timers are too soft. If I set Alexa volume for timers/alarms, the music is unbearably loud. PLEASE add this feature!
Please! I have an old iPhone/alarm clock from 10 years ago that supports two different alarm volume settings, yet Amazon can only do one? A serious overlook. I use the feature every day but would much rather use my Alexa.

Yes, please change this. I have different alarms for different times of the day, and I would like to be able to set morning alarms at a lower volume than afternoon alarms.

I can't believe this feature is missing - I just assumed I hadn't dug around enough in the settings. The kitchen Alexa - we need all alarm and timer sounds to be loud when cooking meals etc. The alarm in the bedroom needs to be quiet to prevent heat attacks in the morning.

I would really like this feature too and also the ability to control the response volume separately during evening hours. Even the lowest volume is way too loud when people are sleeping nearby. If I ask Alexa to turn on or off the lights late at night all I need is the lights to change, not for Alexa to shout out "OK" and startle my wife out of sleep.

PLEASE add this. I like to listen to music at night at lower levels, but I always need my alarms at maximum volume.
Yes - This is a must. Or at least a default volume level that Alexa will return to after so long of idleness. For example, I listen to music at vol 9 then the next morning (early hours) I ask for her to turn the light on etc and she scares the living s**t out of me.
