Adding a new (custom) Routine should enable to stop radio Spotify Music
If I create a new Routine in the Amazon Alexa app on IOS Device I can currently only add the following actions:
Smart Home, Traffic, Wether, News.
I would like to have a action which stops Alexa from playing any kind of music or other sound.
Background: You create the Routine "Goodby" which should turn off all HUE lights and it should stop the Radio(tuneIn on Alexa, or Spotify music). The feature of stopping Music is not available in the app. If I say "Alexa, Stop" the music is stopped. Why is that not available in the app?

So if you are still looking for your request to be heard, it already has. When you create a routine, go under device settings and press "Stop Audio" which will do the exact thing you are looking for.

I am able to create a routine that turns on a light and plays Classic Vinyl on SiriusXM over my Sonos speakers using the sonos skill. I created another routine to turn off the light but cannot find a way to stop the SiriusXM streaming, which I need to do in order to stream it elsewhere. The ability to stop an audio stream, using a routine, that is playing on something other than an Echo speaker (ie: Sonos) is required.

Add a news flash routine for the time you want the music to stop and when the news flash ends (approx.5 minutes) the echo goes silent until the next on routine begins.

Just have it play something else...like a 1 second beep...it can't multi-task so it will stop it's current task, play the beep, then go silent.

+1000, if you have a way to do something you should have a way to undo (stop) something.
