User-specific flash briefing content
The current flash briefing content (per provider) is a 'one size fits all approach'. Everyone gets the same NPR briefing, for example.
There are many use-cases where user-specific information could be very powerful in the flash briefing, often in concert with interactive skills. Some examples:
A sport team skill that (in the flash briefing) reminds you of your game time this weekend (or of changes), without you ever having to touch a calendar
A retailer skill that (in a flash briefing) advises of significant deals, relevant to your buying history or explicit 'watch list'.
I think this would take flash briefing content 'to the next level'.

Even would be great if we could even add in a URL for a custom RSS feed to be read out from within the Alexa app.

The current problem for developers is that we do not receive a userId for Flask briefings. They are just 'dumb' (as in broadcast, non-personalized) RSS feeds.
A simple solution would be if the userId were provided in the request header for the RSS.
But which userId? It should be the userId of the Alexa Custom Skill associated with the Flash Briefing. This could be as simple as allowing us to specify the associated skill ID - either via drop-down or text field in the admin panel.
Alternatively, to specify the flash briefing in the custom skill as per Salman Akbari's suggestion.

It will be very helpful to get feature where we can give User Specific Flash Brief. We have scenario where we want to brief user at the end of the day on activity summary but this brief needs to be specific for each user.

This sounds like just adding news selections to your flash briefing, unless I am wrong? I have npr, bbc, marketing tip of the day, top ten tech, and a few more. Just go into the settings>flash briefing>get more flash briefing content. There are bible verses of the day, words of the day, news, tons of stuff!!

I have a weather skill, and this is the #1 requested feature from users. They want to use it as the weather in their flash briefings.

I second this.
I have a few ideas for flash briefings that you can customize or would only read briefings that apply to the user.
Even something as simple as being able to point to the file like bucketName/alexaDeviceID/jsonFile.json would be a start. That way could create a skill where users could customize their briefing.

you would be able to add playing a certain song or station or audio book or skill or whatever when making routines, so your one word routine would dim the lights, play soft jazz, turn on the fireplace and bam the mood would be set..

It would be great to be able to create a Custom Skill, that also has a field in admin or a Built-In Intent to support Flash briefings.
I have seen some providers like ESPN who have two skills, I am going through the same problem with my app, one for briefing and one for actual Custom skill, which would be a lot easier and more straight forward for both users and developers if it was possible to add Flash briefing functionality inside Custom Skill.

I want this for my game. I think it would be cool for a user to subscribe to a digest of "everything that has happened" to them in the game world since their last interactions.

If would be nice to add a custom skill into alexa routines. Like saying Alexa good morning, get the weather, switch on lights and start my custom skill asking for healthcare values
