  1. List invocation name requirements

Invocation Name requirements should list that you cannot use connecting words and list those words when selecting an invocation name.

  2. Fix slot value depending on Utterances

    Hi,
is there a way to set devault slot values?
I work with money value slots and in german there is the problem with "one".
We count one (1), two (2), three (3)...
in german eins, zwei, drei ...
but we don't say "eins Euro" we say "einen Euro" or "ein Euro". Same for one cent or size value.

I know I can fix it with a secound intent like:
    1. Intent
    {euro} Euro
    2. Intent
    ein Euro
    einen Euro

If there a better way to do it? something like fix slot values depending on the utterances?

    greatings

  3. Allow eliciting slots from previous intent

Currently, if a user has matched an intent, if using a dialog model, you can elicit a specific slot.

There are times when you want to continue to elicit that slot, for example if you are playing a game that requires the user and Alexa to go back and forth with responses with the user filling the same elicited slot each time.

However if the user says Help, or let's say you have another intent for asking the score or any other question, that moves to another intent, you cannot elicit that previous intent's slot anymore. For any skill, a…

  5. Intent Confirmation Does Not Support SSML and Question Mark

There is a bug in the new Console. I cannot include both SSML and a question mark because validation says: "You can only have a '?' at the end of a prompt" but for SSML you need to have the closing </speak> tag.

    Request for a new option.
I need a way to automatically export reports from the "Measure Skills" page. Could you get this feature in there?

  7. streamline identity flow for Authentication and account linking

Keeping the voice first spirit user's should be allowed to link there Alexa with a skill using just voice. We for example just need an email and name to create account in our system. If Amazon provides an api to send this on fly when user says "yes go ahead link" then we can create an account on the fly and return an accessToken

  8. Perform Account un-linking on behalf of your customers

Being able to proactively un-link your users when your access scopes change.

If for some reason you need to add a scope, you will have to tell your users to disable the skill and reconnect to allow access with the new scope in order to have access to your new features.

There should be a way to unlink all customers and force relogin for all existing customers so that they can re-login with the updated scopes

  10. A tool to help find synonyms for slots.

People think differently how to describe what they want, and so they have many different ways to verbalize slots. Currently, to account for those different words, the developer would have to manually come up with those variations. Either though their imagination or by manually asking people to interact with the skill. These are great methods, but they are slow and very localized.

It would be great to have some tool, like a built-in mass user testing tool or even a built in synonym recommendation tool.

  11. Add confidence score for ER_SUCCESS_MATCH

If you could include a scoring (percent) in ERSUCCESSMATCH for synonyms it would be very helpful to either guide the dialog to get more information, or make a best effort attempt for the end point to fill in the blanks.

This would allow us to make our endpoints trainable based on user feedback.

  12. Help and instructions

When you send your skill for certification at amazon they say that if the skill is not certified they will send you feedback and instructions for how to fix those problems, but when you do what they. You submit again but it caused more problems. All I am saying is that when you fix the problem, you fix the problem. Also if its your first time doing any sort of programming then amazon should directly help you with your skill.

  13. Show session status visually in Test Simulator

It’s not clear which state the tool is in during a conversational test.. It’s not clear when a skill session times out and whether default Echo or My Skill will answer your next utterance. It would be nice if the left panel had background shading to indicate you are in the default Echo or a My Skill session and to visually group a set of interactions to one session.

  14. Show the invocation name, intent, slot, in Test Simulator

    1. Pre-fill the utterance text input with the invocation launch such as "open cat facts". Users often jump straight to their intent, and many type "Alexa, " as well; this may steer them into the right usage pattern.

    2. Above the Skill I/O panel on the right, display in bold font, the name of the Intent and any Slots that were heard. It is difficult to scroll down the big block of JSON input and hunt for these after every utterance. This would create a faster feedback loop as developers test various utterances.

  15. Improvement suggestions

Hello, the new interface for Alexa skill is not as good as before, because
    1. The session expired too soon, when user was just starting to fill the Utterance, it took time as user need to fill one by one ( before we can just fill it without pressing adding one. (When session expire, every utterances that I just keyed in went nothing!!! If Amazon wants to keep this UI, please adding the longer session expiression time!
    2. Amazon has to choose if you really want to have developer interface or user interface especially this is called developer tool. However,…

  18. clear oauth token without disabling skill

I would like to be able to clear the oauth token so a user can logout with new credentials and get a different token. As described in https://forums.developer.amazon.com/questions/62270/how-to-do-log-out-or-invalidate-auth-token-in-alex.html
this is only possible if we disable then re-enable the skill, but then the userId would be lost and I would like to avoid that.

  19. Daily auto update of Flash Briefing feed file

Is it possible to have an daily auto update JSON feed for a Flash Briefing, whereby one has 365 feeds prebuilt, one for each day, and Alexa pulls the applicable feed file based on day stamp or other attribute?

  20. Developer Support Contact Us - Add ticket status, message history & make cases/tickets closed to general public

Developer Support Contact Us link that shows the message history and current status of opened tickets.

Right now the only options are to post in the Alexa Skills Forum or submit a contact us ticket here.

    https://developer.amazon.com/support/contact-us?caseID=XXXXXX

Creating a portal where a user can check the status of their tickets would help reduce the number of duplicate submissions, less work connecting the tickets to each other.

I'd also recommend that the public can't view the ticket's message history and status unless they are logged in with valid permissions, so skill-Id's and details about IP won't be shared to the general…
