1. Allow Flash Briefing listeners to report feed errors without leaving 1-star reviews

   Hi,
   I really think Flash Briefing listeners should have the ability/option to report a feed error/issue. Currently, there is no way to do that.

   When I had a feed error on my Flash Briefing, I only found out via 1-star reviews left on my briefing. Since the reviews don't show up until a day later, I didn't know until well after the fact that there was a feed issue for some listeners.

   My Flash Briefing went from a perfect 5.0 rating to a 3.2 rating because 4 straight listeners left 1-star reviews. All they wanted to do was share that there was a feed issue. The poor reviews were not because the Flash Briefing is of poor quality, but because there was a temporary error.

   And now, because users aren't notified when someone responds to a review (like I did), I'm stuck with the poor reviews and can't tell the listeners that the feed has been fixed.

   My Flash Briefing rating has been tanked as a result and there's no way to fix it.

   A much better system would allow users to report a feed error without having to leave a negative rating that permanently hurts the Flash Briefing's rating, that also isn't a reflection of the briefing's quality.

   I would really love too if those who left a review would also be notified that I responded to their reviews so they could learn the issue has been fixed.

   The current system is not set up well and permanently penalizes my product.

2. Permit changing the name of flash briefing feed

   We'd like the ability to delete individual feeds, but if we can't do that, at least let us change the name of the feed... we published a feed that we just wanted to change the capitalization of the title, and we couldn't... so...
   1. allow us to delete feeds
   2. allow us to rename feeds
   3. allow us to change capitalization

3. Enable RSS Feed rename

   I had to rename a feed. I now cannot publish any more as it says "The rename or deletion of a published feed is not supported".

   How can I publish the feeds under a new name?

4. authenticate during flash briefing

   We want to be able to provide updates on the user's investment balances, but in order to do so the user usually needs to enter a PIN so we can access their account-linked data.

6. Let us delete old RSS feeds - impossible to get certified with them

   Every time i submit my UK skill for certification, I get the error that one of my three RSS feeds has 7+ day old content. Yes, I know this: there are 2 dead feeds. I would delete them if I could but Amazon will not allow us to delete old feeds. The default feed which is updated daily works fine. It's live in my US skill in fact. But Amazon is declining my skill update because the old feeds are not updated. Yet you won't let me delete the old defunct feeds. This puts me in an impossible loop. Please certify my UK and CA skill updates AND let me delete the dead feeds to avoid this going forward. I have had the same problem for a year - every time. Thank you.

9. Gestione del feed personalizzata

   It would be useful to manage the feed parser from the Flash Briefing programming interface.

   It is not always possible to set a feed upstream.

   How I can use and even choose the order would be really very useful.

   Sarebbe utile gestire il parser dei feed direttamente dall'interfaccia di programmazione del Flash Briefing.

   Non sempre è possibile impostare a monte un feed.

10. Provide a "Flash Briefing error" webhook for developers

    It would be great to be notified if there any of our Live Flash Briefing skills experience an error on the users' Echo device.

    We provide a custom error message that gets read to the customer, but the developer doesn't get notified when an error occurs. If a webhook was provided, developers could collect stats and setup alerts so we're aware of errors.

    At the moment, the only indication something is wrong is by viewing the analytics for EACH flash briefing. Since there is no analytics API for flash briefing skills at this time this also is a manual process.

    This isn't just for convenience for the developer. This would improve the customer experience because developers would get immediate signals that something is wrong and needs to attended to.

13. Selectable number of episodes played by Flash Skills

    The developer console defaults to playing the last 5 installments of a Flash Briefing, unless we set the number separately in our RSS feed. This number should be configurable within Alexa, without requiring changes at the RSS level. (And the default for Daily briefings should be one, right?)

14. Flash Briefing: add video support

    I have some Flash Briefings for local news. The news providers are creating video, and then ripping the audio out for the Flash Briefing version. It would be great to be able to use the video in the Echo Show.

    Bonus points for using the video asset for the audio / non-video Echo devices.

15. One Flash Briefing skill should be available in all marketplace

    Recently we have published a Flash Briefing skill for our company but it is only available on 1 marketplace which is associated to my ID. I think there should be a feature that allow Flash Briefing skill to publish in all market places this will make management of content easy for the admin as the content will be same for all the marketplace.

    Also if the content is different for each market place then either user can create separate skill for each market or may be you can add a feature in skill creation step when developer can give separate jSON feed for each marketplace

17. Daily auto update of Flash Briefing feed file

    Is it possible to have an daily auto update JSON feed for a Flash Briefing, whereby one has 365 feeds prebuilt, one for each day, and Alexa pulls the applicable feed file based on day stamp or other attribute?

18. Japanese Words In an English flash briefing skill.

    I need to find a way to get Alexa to correctly pronounce Japanese words in an English language flash news skill (about sumo). Would it be possible to make it so that when Alexa encounters Hiragana and Katakana in an English text stream, she pronounces them using Japanese pronunciation rules?

19. Volume leveling

    Users frequently need to increase or decrease volume across the different news sources in a Flash News briefing. It would be wonderful if Echo had a volume leveling similar to some TVs that can level the volume between commmercials and regular programming.

20. Make Flash Briefings testable in test simulator

    Right now the Alexa test simulator tab (in both the old and new skill consoles) refuses to play Flash Briefings. This, combined with the fact that things like echosim.io also won't play Flash Briefings, means it's impossible to do a live test of the content your flash briefing is serving from an anonymous account.
