  1. Add an all time button to the time interval, the interface is a bit awkward to be able access the data.
As an aid to tracking promotions a since first release stats a first 30 day from release would also be good.
Finally and api to access the analytics would good

  3. Nowadays developers can't change device address returned from developer console test. Some cases which require specific address to test features turn dificult to do. So, is a good idea to implement a functionality in order to be able for changing the device address returnes by console.

  4. Is it possible to persist the values within Service Endpoint Type when switching between "AWS Lambda ARN" radio option and "HTTPS" option? I test new code with a local lambda proxy endpoint URL and whenever I switch back to "AWS Lambda ARN" option I have to re-enter the ARN, which becomes tedious. It would be extremely convenient if the last used value could be persisted.

  8. Please add the ability to sort Skills in the new Developer Console by name or by modification date. The old Developer Console sorted by modification date which allowed developers of many Skills to keep better track of their recent changes.

  9. Allow OpenID Connect or SAML federated login to Alexa Developer Console.

We have several teams in our organization who are starting to work on skills that they intend to release publicly. Most other services we use support federated login using OpenIdConnect/SAML, but the Alexa Developer Console notably does not.

I know console access currently isn't currently structured in a way that federated login would make particular sense, but being able to say from my side "users in this AD security group can login to the Alexa Console and manage our skills" so they have access granted and revoked as they…

  10. Add automatic skill endpoint switching when the development skill goes live.

It will be great to have the possibility to make Live version work with lambda.arn:PROD and Development with lambda.arn:$LATEST aliases. Every time when I want to update my skill I need to do back and forth switching.

  11. There is a problem with the simulator in that is doesn't show home cards for the Echo and Echo Dot. Since this is part of certification, it would be nice to be able to test this.

  13. An issue for larger organizations is the lack of governance around access to the developer console and specific features of the console. For example, I'd like to be able to allow a developer to contribute to a skill or do their own POCs, but prevent them from submitting for certification.

It would also be useful if SAML auth were supported to allowed for federated access to the console.

  14. Hello Amazon,

When you reply to ticket cases, if I have many open, you do not make any reference in the email to which ticket you are replying to (except the case number) so it is very difficult to know what you are responding to, especially if there are many tickets open.

Even in the original email acknowledging the ticket has been opened, there is no reference to the original reason the ticket has been opened.

It would be great if you could add the original text submitted to the email so that that we know what you are responding…

  15. When a build fails or save fails, the error prompt is not descriptive:

    Operation Failed
The attempted operation has returned an unspecified error. This may be due to an expired session, or a model that exceeds 1MB in size.

Think more descriptive and precises error messages are needed, algo between every save or build I usually make several changes, it would be nice so the difference between actual json and the one from the previous successful save.

  16. In the Alexa Developer Console Test panel, add a button next to each bubble in the transcript pane that reloads that phrase and submits with 1 click.

In testing it's common to use the same value over and over and over, currently I do the very tedious: select the transcript text, copy, paste into the input field, hit enter. Should be an easy feature upgrade to give a button next to all inputs in the transcript so they can be reloaded quickly.

  17. In developer console, I would let developers to SAVE the skill during certification stage and I would not BUILD the model. Bu this, it would be possible to continue development while putting in pause the distribution of it.

  18. The current design of the APL Tool requires a lot of scrolling. I'd prefer to have two columns. The left column would have a tab across the top with options for Document | Resource | Styles | Layouts | Datasources. The json code would be displayed below the tab which would allow a lot more lines to be displayed with an option of increasing the font size. If Layouts is selected, an option could be made available to change between the diagrams and json code. The right column would have a top and bottom section with the preview on top…

  19. When the Echo Show display option is unchecked, you should integrate Alexa app cards if developers send it. Even if you don't want to display cards, you should at least treat the console as a non-screen device allowing devs to see cards property in the output JSON when echo screen is disabled

  20. When the Alexa simulator says "You just triggered <MyCustomIntent>", there should be some cue, message, indication, of the words in the intent handler code are not being heard. It's clear the intent handler was reached, the handler uses speak, how could anyone know what the problem is?
